Abstract

Socio - economic development is one of crucial components of sustainable development, or more correctly,
succesful designed socio-economic model support sustainable development. In that conclusion, statistical analysis is
necessary to be made on indicators with multidimensional character which reflect economic and social dimension of
sustainable development. According to these statistical performances these indicators are predicting expected values of
indicators in the future periods. These information are base for creating and development of the decision support
system in strategic management, or more precisely, management of this component of sustainable development.
Further, these information and information get from the comparative analysis in appropriate time series for indicators
which relate countries in EU and surrounding are support for undertaking corrective activities and creating business
development politics for successful realization of strategy of sustainable development.
