Abstract

The paper discusses and analyses the importance of the influence of organizational culture in school management. The construct of organizational culture is viewed from an interdisciplinary approach: pedagogy, psychology, and economics. School culture is the way employees work, and the school climate represent perception and encompasses all aspect of the school environment. The role of school culture and climate is very important for building the reputation of the school, identity, and image of the organization. In this paper, the construct of school culture and climate are analysed in accordance with corporate marketing, education, and brand theory. The role of employees in school management creates a corporate brand and it is crucial in creating relationship with employees, customers and management. The paper concludes that employees are the most important strategic resource of any organization and that the right relationship with employees creates more motivated employees, better service, corporate brand and creates a favourable school climate.
