Abstract

The implementation of any strategy needs professionals acting ethically, to meet the expectations of the society. To investigate how business educators can ensure that graduates will become ethical professionals, key instructors of an international business programme were interviewed. Our thematic content analysis revealed a broader interpretation of professional ethics and a non-systematic approach. The obtained results, visualised by a word cloud and contrasted with Rest’s Four Component Model, could support curriculum developers in integrating ethics into business programmes.
